Privacy Policy

Margin (“Margin”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-native assistant for traders and brokers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email [email protected].

We collect only what we need to make the app work:

• Email address — to sign you in via a one-time code.
• Audio you record — voice notes you choose to capture, used to transcribe and extract deals and contacts.
• Photos and files you add — business cards, screenshots, PDFs, and product specs you choose to capture.
• Content you create — the notes, deals, contacts, and memory that result from your captures.
• Account identifiers — a user ID used to scope your data to your account.

We do not collect location, health data, payment-card details, browsing or search history, your device address book, or any advertising identifiers.

Your data is used solely to provide app functionality: signing you in, transcribing and structuring your captures into deals and memory, answering your questions from that memory, and surfacing follow-ups. We do not use your content to train general-purpose models, and we do not use it for advertising.

To deliver these features we rely on a small number of processors that act on our behalf and under contract:

• OpenAI — transcription, extraction, and embeddings. Audio, images, and text you capture may be processed to produce the structured results.
• Supabase — secure database, authentication, and storage, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).

These providers process data only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes.

Every record is scoped to the signed-in user through row-level security, so your data is accessible only to your account. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your captured content from our active systems. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.

Margin is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
